"Revealed: scientist who sparked racism row has black genes

A Nobel Prize-winning scientist who provoked a public outcry by claiming black Africans were
less intelligent than whites has a DNA profile with up to 16 times more genes of black
origin than the average white European.
An analysis of the genome of James Watson showed that 16 per cent of his genes were likely to have come from a black ancestor of African descent. By contrast, most people of European descent would have no more than 1 per cent........"

That made me laugh quite a bit.
I've never understood racism, I mean, it's one human race, so basically it's just one BIG gene pool.
But what I really don't understand is how Huckabee has a shot at getting the presidency in the US. It is also downright scary.
Heh, it is only because that happened in Iowa. Iowa is not a very good representative of the United States as a hole. It shows how the midwest might be thinking, but once you get to the coasts it's a whole different story. New York has more in common with Canada than it does the Midwest, which is pretty sad.
